Elizabeth M. Gooden
Elizabeth M. Gooden is the author of KICKED OUT OF SURF DUDES FOR JESUS: A GAY TEEN ROMANCE AMID DISAPPROVERS and its sequel EPIC TRIUMPHS OF GAY NINJA SURFERS OVER SYSTEMIC RELIGIOUS OPPRESSION.
Since moving to the desert, Elizabeth traded in her surfboard for hiking boots. In addition to the first two Surf Dudes novels, she has written plays (with music) for children including “What the Monster Ate for Lunch,” “Vasilisa and the Magic Doll,” and “Prince Charming, Jr.”
Favorite on-stage roles include the first person to die in a murder mystery, one of Ali Baba’s forty thieves, and the Ghost of Christmas Past.
Elizabeth lives near Phoenix, Arizona with her playwright husband, James Gooden, their Jack-Chi dog Gracie, while their kid, Drew, a recent film graduate from Arizona State University, makes short films.
